Bellhaven Stud is proud to be standing Bellhaven Coraldo, by the great Corrado. Coraldo himself is now proving to be a progenitor. His progeny are all super types with scope, carefulness and they all have a good brain. Let the photos of his progeny speak for themselves. The oldest is 9yo, and even though he has only served 3-6 mares a year for our Stud, he has improved on every mare. His young horses are stepping up to 1.40m now and will have no trouble jumping Grand Prix tracks. Some have commenced in eventing and are expected to compete at top level. Coraldos’ progeny are becoming very sought after, given their rideability and scope. And he has just produced the top 5-year-old eventer in the country and the judges choice, 5-year-old champion at SIEC. We are only interested in producing international class youngsters, and this stallion is doing the job. Coraldo, even with limited competitions, is competing Mini-Prix at the Top Shows with an amateur rider with no experience at this level, it’s easy for Coraldo because he has so much scope and a great brain. We expect him to be at World Cup in 2019. HIs young progeny is becoming very highly sought after by the best riders in eventing and showjumping in Australia and New Zealand, and his semen quality is terrific.
Coraldo’s Sire, Corrado, is the father of Corofino I, II and Clinton, who we all remember from the Athens Olympics. Corrado gives his offspring enormous scope and is a producer of international Grand Prix jumpers. These include; Classic H, Cher, Corrada, Cosima, Cosmos Star, Caramia, Canyon, Think Twice and Cabrio. Bellhaven Coraldo won premium foal in Germany and is from the same Stamm (890) as Euro Commerce Berlin and Casall La Silla.
Coraldo’s dam, P-Alysha, is a very good imported Holsteiner mare by Aloube Z (Alme). Aloube Z is a son of the great Alme Z who won at international level in showjumping. During breeding, he was even more successful and has produced numerous exceptional offspring including; I Love You, Jalisco B (sire of Quidam de Revel) & Galoubet A. Three French stallions, all of which have competed successfully at an international level. Aloube Z was also a champion of showjumping classes – up to “S” level (1.60m). Aloube Z has produced numerous international showjumpers including; Abano (Christian Ahlmann), Alvaretto (Meredith Michaels-Beebaum), Aramis R (Thomas Voss) and Aristotle 17 (Dirk Ahlmann).
P-Alysha, linebred to Gotthard who was a legend in his own lifetime. He produced over 35 approved sons and his progeny have earnt in excess of 1 million euros. Further back in P-Alyshas’ pedigree is the legendary Ramiro Z, who during his own sports career, had numerous wins at all levels of showjumping including; Nation Cups, Puissance (Jumping over 2.2m) and in international Grand Prix competition. P-Alysha showed excellent possibilities for free jumping prior to breeding.
