Carpaccio’s main sporting career was in the dressage arena. As a five-year-old, he qualified for the final of the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf, where he placed. One year later, he also qualified for the final and gained victories in M-classes. He is also becoming well known as being a Dam Sire and has many 1.60 horses coming up in the sport.
Foals by Carpaccio are all good types and with movements above average. Carpaccio has a foal index of 122, and in the German breeding index, Carpaccio has a value between 121 and 137 in showjumping as well as the dressage division. Until now, 11 sons of Carpaccio were approved. The outstanding one was Chico‘s Boy, the Champion stallion 2002. Chico’s boy is now a very successful dressage and showjumping stallion in his own right.
This stallion is a true multi-purpose stallion, ideal for showjumping, eventing and dressage. A foal by him would be a valuable asset to any stable. He has a very good thoroughbred pedigree including; Sovereign Path, Blue Peter and Sir Tristram, lines that are highly sought after in Germany. He would also make a perfect refinement stallion for big warmblood mares.
